The call for applicants for the eighth Security Forum Awards is now open
We have been rewarding talent in the security industry in Spain for seven years. Our aim is to promote and encourage research, development and innovation in the industry. Therefore, these awards represent immediate recognition for those responsible for current security research projects, as well as for projects already implemented that serve as a model and international showcase for the potential of our industry.

Security Forum R&D+i Award:
- Who can participate? Participation is open to individuals over 18 years of age residing in Spain who is part of a research team belonging to Spanish universities or business schools and to researchers or students whose final thesis or research activity is not linked to any business activity.
- Requirements. The projects cannot be linked to any business activity and must be related to and directly applicable to the Security industry. To consult the areas in which the project must be registered, please consult the competition rules.
- The endowment of the prize
- First Prize: cheque valued at 3,000 euros + commemorative trophy.
- Finalist: Commemorative trophy.
Security Forum Award for the best security project
- Who can participate? Companies (product manufacturers, distributors, integrators, installers, security consultancies or engineering firms) that have developed significant projects that serve as a model and international showcase to demonstrate the potential of the Spanish industry. Also, security managers whom have participated in the project.
- Requirements. The facility must be located in Spanish territory and comply with current legislation. The completion of the project must have been carried out during the year and up to the deadline for submission of applications.
- The endowment of the prize
- First Prize: Commemorative trophy.
- Finalist: Commemorative trophy.

The winners will have the opportunity to make a presentation of their project during Security Forum 2021, and the awards ceremony will be held on 20 October in the afternoon.
